Friday May 18th

Well, today is the last day of school! Except for my sinus infection it has been a fun week! So, today I get to finish packing up our room, unpack my other room for summer and go out to a Leaving work dinner for Rachel. Yep, if I have not said it before, my best friend Rachel is moving. About 3 years ago Rachel and Brian bought a piece of property down on one of the South Carolina islands. They were going to slowly build a house on the property so that they could retire there eventually. Well, Brian had the chance to go work for the fire department down there on the island. He said that the retirement down there was better after 5 years than it was up here in Richmond County after 22 years! So, with that they decided to build a small temp house until their real house is built. They move down there at the end of May. Now, rachel is leaving her job and is going to be a harbor master for the ferry that runs to the island. I guess they are just going to live the retirement a little earlier than thought. Anyways, I am rambling. Hopefully I can get my room set up by tomorrow and somehow fit the new shreck movie in as well. Until tomorrow.....

Thursday May17th

I know it has been long time since I have added anything to my blog. I have been a slacker. Anyway, not much is going on here. School ends tomorrow for me!!!!! So, this week we have been packing up our classroom. Lots of work. That and I plan on working the summer camp this summer so, after I am done packing up my classroom I then have to unpack my camp room on Saturday. Needless to say I am going to be very tired this weekend. Its been about a month since I have gotten to sleep in on the weekend. We are also in a continual state of blooming!!! If I don't keel over from exhaustion then I will from allergies! The weather keeps going up and down so things are getting several chances to bloom again. On another note, I think American Idol worked out perfect. We all know that Melinda was going to get a contract no matter what happened. Actually all of them will, but I think the two that are in the final will make for a great show. Now at least there is a hint of surprise as to who is going to win. I myself would like to see Jordin win. Although I really like Blake as well. Can't wait for next week! Well, got to run! Work calls!

Alright!  Now we have something to talk about!  Goodbye Sanjaya!!!!  Now let the real competition begin.  Although there should be several more that should still be on there!  Well hopefully our cable will be fixed on Saturday.  It seems that there maybe something wrong with our tuner box.  Which means right now we don't get fox or cbs.  Which meant that I did not get to watch Tuesday's Ameican Idol.  I would have loved to see Jordin's verison of Broken Wing.  That is my all time fav Martina song!!!!  I have read that Jordin was great!
Other than that things are the same.  Dogs are doing good.  We had a lot of fun last Saturday with my friend Connie.  We went and watched a playoff Hockey game.  We had a pretty nasty storm that night too, but didn't see too much damage from it.  Well, I am off!  I have to get ready for work!  Too much fun!  Today we are going on a fieldtrip!  Yea!!!!!!!!!  what a way to spend a friday!!!!!!!

Well, we are back!  Yes, it has been a long time since we have been on our blog!   We had a wonderful time in MI!!!!!  As for the wonderful United Airlines!!! That is a whole other story!  All I can say is that if you plan on flying with United make sure you plan on lots of time sitting in the airport or on the plane.  I believe we spent almost 3 hours sitting on the plane  before it even took off!  Anyways, this is a short blog cause we are both working today!  

Sat March 10th

Wow, we have had such a busy week! Sorry that it has taken so long for us to write again. Well, Jess got a replacement cd player for her car. Her other one finally died. We also had to take roxy into the vet. It seems that the iris on her right eye is changing color. The vet said that he didn't know why it was changing but to keep a very close eye on it. Other than that things are good. Jess is in Columbus visiting her friend connie this weekend, so, tim is all alone! We hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Friday March 2nd

Last night we had a huge storm blow through!!!  There were some possible tornados that touched down in other counties close to us.  There are a lot of trees down in the area, I don't think we lost any trees or had any damage.  There are quite a few areas that are without power.  It must have been a pretty big storm because it kept the dogs up all night.  Sadie was growling quite a bit during the night.  Well we started the reading race with the heiss kids!  Uncle tim is off to a good start with 30 minutes and Aunt Jess is behind the pack!  She fell asleep around 8pm!  She still isn't feeling the best.  It also didn't help that Tim slipped her some cold medicine that would knock her out for the night.  Jess thinks he did it on purpose so that he could win the race!!!!  That's some dirty pool Uncle Tim!

Thurs March 1st

I don't know... There are some strong singers on both sides!  I really like Blake, Chris (both of them)  and Sundance on the men's side.  For the girls side I would have to say Jordan, Lakisha and Melinda. Although I did not watch the girls last night!  I have it on tivo!  I agree with mom in that I think Sanjaya is not ready for this competition.  His last performance was horrible.  I would be suprised to see him make it past thursday.  Anyways, I started out yesterday (2am) with a sinus headache and by 6 it had turned into a migrane.  By the end of the night last night I was feeling better although I had a slight fever.  We have this weird virus going around where the kids only get a fever and no other symptom.  Maybe that was part of what I had yesterday.  Although I think it mainly had to do with the migrane.  I am feeling much better this morning.  chelle,  I think the William H. Macy movie was Somewhere in time.  Only cause its listed first.  

Wednesday Feb 28th

wow, we haven't written in a while!  Well, since aunt jess is home sick today.  I guess I shall write a little!  Things turned out ok with the pup.  By the time our friend came to pick him up we had him under control.  Funny that when she came back into the house to get him , he started acting like his first day!  oh well.  
The new American Idol season has started and I would love to hear who you think will win!  We failed to keep our winning streak at trivia!  It was bound to happen.  We also wanted it to happen.  See, if we keep winning then no one will come and play and then the BBQ place will loose their business that night and we can't let that happen!  This place is too good to loose!
Our time is getting shorter!  Before we know it we will be on the road heading for MI!!!!!!!!!!!  Yea!!!! We both can't wait.

Saturday Feb 16th

Wow, it has been an experience the past couple of days.  Like we said, we took in our friends dog
and boy he is a handful!  He is still a puppy and is not fully potty trained.  So, it has been a time trying to  get him to go potty outside.  That and he is crate trained.  He stays in his crate when we are gone or when we are sleeping.  So, now that he is at our house and he gets lots more time out of the crate, he doesn't know what to do with himself.  He is also not around other dogs, so he is learning how to play and interact with our dogs.  He is a mile a minute and we always have to keep our eyes on him to make sure that he doesn't potty in the house!  It has been a different experence.   Other than that things are pretty normal.  We went out to dinner last night with some friends to celebrate a retirement from the British Army.  It was a fun night.  Today we are going to get the last part of Jess' valentines present.  About a month ago we were in Aiken and went into a antique shop.  Inside the shop Jess saw a afgan rack that was in the shape of a cactus.  Perfect for our house!  So today we are going to go get it!

Wednesday Feb 14th

Happy Valentines day!   Well, Tim and I won again!!!!  Usually we have a pretty big crowd with us, but last night because of the storms it was just the two of us!  We won the joke and first place.  
For the joke, the winner usually gets peach cobbler.  Sometimes the lady there will give us a choice like bread pudding or pecan pie.  If we are real lucky she will give us banana pudding!!!!  The 25 
dollars was a nice little addition to valentines day!  As for today, Tim and I are probably going to 
stay home.  Our friend Jen is leaving tomorrow to go see her husband in California.  So, we have 
offered to take her dog while she is gone.  She will be by tonight with biscuit tonight around 5.  
Anyways, that is our life so far!  Oh yeah,  our friend Lisa, who takes care of our dogs, is back in 
the country!  That means she will be around to watch the dogs during spring break!!!!  It looks like we will be driving! Well, got to run!  Big day at school!  Big valentines party!   

Tuesday Feb. 13th

Its already tuesday!!!!  Both of us are looking forward to the 3 day weekend!  Although it will be a 4 day weekend for Jess.  We probably won't do very much for that weekend, just small things  around the house.   Tonight is our wonderful trivia night!   Wish us luck!  out of the past 3 weeks we have won 2 times!  We are on a roll!

Well, we just came back from a wonderful walk with our friends Jackie and Lisa! All the doggies 
had a great time and are now sleeping on the floor!   Not too much going on today.   We hope

Saturday Feb 10th

 Hello!  Welcome to the weekend!!!!!  Not much going on this weekend.  We are both still trying to get over our sinus problems.  The only thing we may do this weekend is go to trivia.  Chelle, they closed down that mexican place we went to!  but we have found another that is even better!  Emily, sometime uncle tim likes to trust mei mei and let her go without a leash.  This time she took full advantage of Uncle Tim.   This morning uncle tim made sure to keep all 3 of them on a leash.  Last weekend we saw 6 deer in our back yard!!!!  That is the most we have ever seen together!  Its a good thing aunt jess had them all leashed up!!!!  Anyways, Happy Saturday to everyone!

Friday Feb 9th

 Well done chelle!  Unfortuntaly we don't sell that kind of water over here!  The next time we are in California we will send you some!!!!  Tim and Mei Mei had another little adventure last night!  Mei Mei took off for the woods!  It took us about a half an hour to capture her!  The funny part was that she would not come if we called her name, but as soon as we started squeeking her squeekie toy she came running!  So, little mei mei is on punishment for the weekend!  

Thursday Feb 8

  Very good pops!  you are correct!  Although that was an easy one for you!  You might have a little more trouble with this next question!  These questions are all used as a free question that we can look up on the internet to get free points at trivia.  Anyways,  Its almost friday!   Yesterday Jess had the wonderful experience of going to the doc to have her ear washed out!   (yes, I went to the doctor because my ear had been hurting since sunday.  They didn't even look in my ear before the pa told the nurse to wash out my ear as a precaution! So, the nurse comes in and shoves this turkey baster in my ear and starts squirting water.  All I could feel was the pain from having that thing in my ear!  She got a little wax the first time and then proceeded to do it 4 more times before she realized that my canal had swelled up and she couldn't fit the turkey baster in my ear anymore!  Then the PA came in, looked in my ear and said well no wonder she couldn't get in your ear, Its completly swollen!!!!!!!!!!  So, now I am on an antibiotic and a decongestant)  Well, we are off to work!  Have fun with the new question!

only did we win for best joke, but we also came in first!  That was a nice

Well, I am sorry to say that "Da Bears" did not live up to the challeng!
Tim was going for the Colts, and I was torn between the two teams!  
They are both great!  Although I can say that the colts are a very classy team!
Anyways,  Things here today ok.  We are in the low 50's, and both tim and I are having sinus
problems.  Other than that everyone is wonderful.
